It can be! Every customer gets the option at checkout to make their box a recurring delivery or get it one time. Recurring boxes get 5% off every single box plus free shipping at $99. We know that every customer has unique needs which is why we make it easy to customize or skip shipments, and even completely opt-out of our recurring service at any time.

Where do you deliver?
We ship everywhere in the USA except Alaska and Hawaii.
How long does shipping take?
We will provide an estimated delivery date once you place an order. Exact shipping times vary based on your location. For many regions, boxes can arrive in as few as 2 days from when they leave our fulfillment center.
Once the order is placed, we will begin processing your order. We ship all of our orders every Tuesday. The deadline to ship the next day is Monday at 12 pm PST. We ship every box with plenty of dry ice so every item will stay completely frozen while in transit. We do not offer expedited shipping options at this time. No signature is required for delivery.
Can I reschedule my delivery?
Yes! You have complete control — you can change your delivery date before or after you place your order and up until we begin packing your box.
Do you offer recipes for your products?
Absolutely! You can also find recipes for products you’ve ordered on our blog and social media.

How does Pasturebird raise their chickens?
Pasturebird’s chickens are truly pasture-raised. Many other pastured chickens are simply grown in a traditional house with the doors kept open (referred to as “outdoor access” or “pasture access”). Pasturebird uses a floorless coop that moves every single day to a fresh spot where the birds can (as Joel Salatin says) “Fully Express their Chicken-Ness.”
Pasturebird does not use any antibiotics, hormones or drugs, instead approaching animal wellness holistically and focusing on fresh air, diet, and exercise to bolster the immune system and fight viruses naturally.

What is Pasture-Raised?
Truly pasture-raised chicken is a label reserved for chickens that primarily live outside and roam freely on grass pastures. These chickens have access to shelter but forage on natural grasses, seeds, bugs and grubs for the majority of their lives. Packed full of rich flavor and nutrients, these chickens are higher in omega-3s as well as vitamins A, D, and E, and lower in fat than most any other chicken.
Payments & Shipping
When will my credit card be charged?
Your card will be charged automatically upon placing an order. Any changes that need to be made can be requested by contacting Customer Care at email@example.com and we will do our best to accommodate all requests.
For subsequent recurring membership boxes, your credit card will only be charged the day before we pack and ship out your next membership box. We’ll send you several emails and text messages to give you plenty of time to reschedule or modify your recurring boxes before your card is charged.
Is my credit card secure?
Yes. We use the same secure, 256-bit encrypted payment gateway trusted by OpenTable, Kickstarter, Lyft, Twitter and more. They store your credit card information and are fully PCI-compliant.
How can I view my order status?
We'll email you to keep you up to date on the status of your order. You can also sign into your account to view the status of your order.
How will my meat be shipped?
All of our products are shipped fully frozen and packed in an insulated box with dry ice to ensure it remains frozen from our door to yours. Our cuts are individually vacuum sealed in high quality, airtight cryovac packages to lock in freshness and ensure a long shelf life in your freezer. All of our meat is USDA inspected.
What packaging do you use?
Our packaging is 100% recyclable. Please recycle all cardboard and plastic!
Do I need to be around the day my shipment arrives?
No, you will not need to be home to sign for your package. It will be packed with plenty of dry ice to stay frozen for many hours after it arrives. That said, you should plan to unpack it and put it away in your freezer or fridge as soon as possible. We’ll send you an email and text message when your order arrives at your door.
Am I able to track my delivery?
Yes, we send delivery status updates via email.
Can I change my order?
Yes, please email us directly at firstname.lastname@example.org with any changes and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
How do I cancel my recurring shipment?
It’s easy! Cancel your recurring membership anytime from your account. We will always send you an email before your next box ships so you can make any adjustments needed. If your box has already shipped, you cannot cancel that box.
